Jalapeno Green Tahini Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 seeded Jalapeño
  • 3 tbsp Tahini
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Packed Cilantro
  • 3 tbsp Warm water to thin sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Blend all ingredients in a blender until they are completely smooth. 
  • If required, add more warm water to thin the sauce until it is spoonable.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste (a little at a time), combine once more, and then taste.
  • If more salt and pepper are required, do so. depending on how much sauce you want, serves 
  • 2 tablespoons of sauce are made in about 1/2 cup or one serving. 
  • If you want additional sauce, double it!

Storage Instructions:
  • Jalapeno green tahini sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Let the sauce cool down to room temperature before storing it in the refrigerator. This will help prevent condensation from forming inside the container, which can make the sauce watery and affect its flavor.
  • Use an airtight container to store the sauce. A glass jar or plastic container with a tight-fitting lid works well. Make sure the lid is properly sealed to prevent air from getting in, which can cause the sauce to spoil.
  • Label the container with the date you made the sauce, so you can keep track of when it was stored and ensure it’s used within the recommended time frame.
  • To reheat the sauce, gently warm it on the stove over low heat, stirring frequently until heated through. Don’t microwave the sauce as this can cause it to separate and change its texture.
