Set the Scene
Global Local Gourmet is a roving kitchen thus we can get the party started just about anywhere. We will decide the best location, once we understand your event specifications. We have a wide variety of location and venues that we work with. You can choose a private home, a professional show kitchen, scenic winery, harvesting farm, conference meeting space, or hotel. We have relationships with a wide range of event spaces to suit your needs and budget.
Design a Salivating Menu
Our culinary concierges will guide you on the best menu for your group based on your guests, desires for the occasion, and dietary considerations and special needs. Inspired by flavors that span the globe, Global Local Gourmet’s menus celebrate seasonal and local ingredients. We hope to wow guests with new techniques, special ingredients, and delicious cuisine.
The Event
Most of our interactive culinary programs are from 3- 4 hours. We greet guests with an amuse bouche, an inventive libation, and artisan cheese with accouterments. When all guests are in attendance, the host will set the agenda for the program; we will introduce our chefs and provide an overview of the event.
Our events are extremely experiential and creative. We will have a variety of stations set up for each dish. Our chefs are there to guide and coach with enthusiasm and encouragement. We also usually have some other interactive experiences planned during the occasion to engage everyone. When the food is finished cooking, all sit or mingle to feast on what was created. Global Local Gourmet takes care of the clean-up.
From wine recommendations to corporate gifts or gourmet gift bags and special requests, we ensure an event that is memorable, deliciously satisfying, edible enriching, and soul gratifying. We love to hear from guest about how they have recreated the meals that we taught them and how their time with us was a memory of a lifetime. Guests will leave will recipes, resources, and pictures of the culinary occasion. We hope they show off their new culinary skills on their friends and family because our events are meant to be the gift that keeps on giving one dish at a time.
